Untethered Technologies have a diverse team of developers and designers who focus on training clients to unlock the potential of interactive technologies so that they can have fun and deliver powerful messages in digital and virtual spaces.

The First Nations Tech Company in Calgary Alberta, Untethered Technologies guided by managing director Jessica Hawryluk, the project manager Su Spotted Bull, the developer Rober Wong and the multimedia designer Gomo Cabarroguis superb team. A leading-edge company with an initial goal to make a bold statement of being the first of its kind. They are a skilled team of AR-VR, Mixed Reality, and Software developers and artists looking to create a more innovative Alberta.

The quest started by guiding the Untethered Technologies team to a re-branding process by having UX facilitation sessions to align the revenue, awareness, and efficiency goals of the business. The UX facilitation also supplied the team with user personas and user stories that they can use as a strategy to connect with their ideal customer and market.

Brand Messaging & Stylescape

 

With all the goal-setting parts done we could focus on defining Untethered Technologies brand messaging core structure in a way that conveys the look & feel, tone & voice, beliefs and values to shape the company culture, mission and vision of the company. From defining the company voice to generating copy-writing for online statements, elevator pitches, internal positioning statements, ads examples and more to a graphic matrix called Stylescapes that help define the visual storytelling, behaviour and assets of Untethered Technologies brand. An important part of the strategy that will bring ease in a fast outcome when contemplating the creation of the touchpoints such as stationery, social media and website.

Stationery & Logo Re-design

 

The stylescape opened up room for many ideas to lay out the company stationery. We created a minimal black stationery style that evokes the simplicity of Untethered Technologies new logomark working cohesively with the brand identity, explained in a Styleguide document for the company branding and marketing purposes.

With the core strategies and the brand identity in place, the re-design process for Untethered Technologies website was on!

Led by the amazing web developer Victoria Yelle and Untethered Technologies team result in an interactive and minimal design on Figma then developed on webflow platform. The final outcome connects beautifully with the look and feel direction set by the stylescape and the conceptual brand assets.

Branded Touchpoints

 

In the strategy and stylescape creation of this project, we developed branding deliverables for touchpoints like website, stationery and garments for the staff. In 2023 the objective was to develop other internal and external touchpoints such as Untethered Technologies animated email signatures for the staff and populate different social media platforms such as Instagram interactive grid design, Facebook and Linked In with valuable still images, carousels and animated content that shares Untethered Technologies values and beliefs with their community and the world.
